Juno IC22R 6-inch Incandescent remodel housing is double-wall constructed and may be installed from below through a 6-1/2-inch hole. It can be completely covered with insulation and vertically adjusts to accommodate up to a 1-inch ceiling thickness. The bar hangers may be re-positioned 90 degrees. A thermal protector ensures automatic shutdown if improper bulb wattage is used. Meets Washington State IECC and MEC codes and conforms with City of Chicago IP requirements. UL listed

The IC22R 6-Inch Downlight Remodel Housing is an IC rated, energy efficient Air-Loc sealed remodel housing for applications where the back side of the ceiling is not accessible. The housing has an adjustable socket plate and detachable socket with snap-in springs to accommodate various bulb and trim combinations. The socket plate is secured at two points to ensure consistent, straight lamp positioning and holds a medium base porcelain socket with nickel-plated copper screw shell that accepts an incandescent light bulb. Bulb wattage ratings and apertures are based on trim selection. Installing the IC22R is made easy by securing the factory installed remodel springs that accommodate up to 1 3/4-Inch ceiling thickness. Supplied with a pre-wired junction box with (5) 1/2-Inch knockouts with pryout slots, (4) non-metallic sheathed cable connectors, and ground wire. UL Listed, C-UL/CSA certified for damp and wet locations and for through-branch wiring, with a maximum of (4) 12-AWG conductors. Wet location listed when using a 239, 241 or 242 trim. The wet listing also includes the 28 and 29 trims, but only when used with PAR30/PAR38 outdoor rated bulbs. All trims are sold separately and come in a wide variety of styles and finishes to customize to your needs, including the 24, 25, 27, 226, 228, 229, 231, 244, 247, 248, 249, 250, 252, 264, 267, 9024, 9324, 9524, 9702, 9900 or XR30101 trims. Meets Washington State IECC and MEC energy codes as tested per ASTM-E283 and conforms to City of Chicago IP requirements.
