Description

• This is a commonly used DC motor drive module, using a small current 293 chip DC motor driver chip
• Using this chip you can use DC motors and power supplies of up to 10 Volts, that some pretty big motors and the chip can supply a maximum current of 600mA per channel.
• 2 interface for 5V Servo connected to the high-resolution dedicated timer - no jitter.
• Multi-function, easy to operate, a strong driver library support and feature updates.

This shield is simply plugged onto an board and allows you to control up to 4 DC motors, 2 stepper motors or 2 servo motors. The powerful and reliable L293D chip distributes the load as an H bridge. This means that you can easily use DC motors and power supplies up to 36 V.
Specification:
1. Up to 4 bi-directional DC motors with individual 8-bit speed selection.
2. Up to 2 stepper motors (unipolar or bipolar) with single spool, double coil or interleaved quilting.
3. 4 H bridges: per bridge delivers 0.6A (1.2A peak current) with thermal protection, engines can run on 4.5V to 12V DC.
4. Remove the resistors to turn off the motors during power on.
5. 2 external terminal strips, for separate logic/motor supplies.
